Transmission

Iceland is located in one of the most geologically active places on Earth, right on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Anthropogenic, human-made global warming is now of such a magnitude that it’s pulling Iceland’s climate outside of the natural variations and pushing the territory to increased volcanic activity as a consequence of deglaciation.

“Transmission” (2019) is a developing project that explores and archives post-natural anthropogenic landscapes through moving image. HD short projected at the artist’s solo exhibition Capitaloceno, Espacio Véntalo, Barcelona, 2019-2020.
